Create a Cyber Magna Carta for UK Citizens
The government (through GCHQ) have given themselves unlimited access to our phones, computers, tablets and other electronic computing devices. We haven't given them permission for them to do this. Businesses and Corportation also have access to our personal data and exchange this for money.
There is no evidence that mass surveillance makes us safer but there is evidence that it takes place. The govenment have given themselves this unlimited power without real discussion with the public. The excessive snooping on everyones private lives is a waste of tax payers money. There are no laws that stop the government or businesses from taking our data and information but with your signature we can bring a stop this and bring in a Cyber Magna Carta.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It's not clear from your petition what you understand by the phrase "Cyber Magna Carta". If you could explain this more clearly, we could look at your petition again.
