Allow citizens to raise concerns about behaviour of MPs during Commons' Debates
MPs may raise Points of Order during House of Commons’ debates if they think that an MP has said something offensive or inappropriate. There is no way for members of the public to do this. Members of the public should be able to raise matters of concern with the Speaker, for reporting to the House.
For instance, it was customary for the Speaker to report to the House the conviction of a member by a criminal court even if the sentence did not disqualify them from remaining a member of the House (an example being Mr. Saklatvala in 1926).
