All fashion retailers should pay their garment workers fairly.
Nearly all the clothes we buy in the UK have been made in a sweat shop overseas. This is unacceptable, why is it that these billionaire companies cant afford to pay the garment workers properly? Surely there should be more regulations and laws put in place, so that this exploitation can be stopped.
Fashion companies seem to only be focused on profits, and never consider the people or the environment in which they are damaging. People have literally died to make cheap clothes (like in Rana Plaza). This is a billion pound industry, you would think the companies could afford to look after their workers. Something must be done.
