No salary or benefits for anyone to help national economy
The country is in debt. We all need the country to get back on it's feet, so for one day, everyone works for free. All money earned by everyone goes towards reducing national debt. This means anyone on PAYE has one day 100% tax, self employed have equivalent one day deduction, anyone on any benefit forfeits that benefit for one day, corporation tax is 100% for one day etc. Everyone shares the pain for the greater good.
