Petition Action

Ban the sale of fireworks to the public and hold local Council events instead.

Petition Details

Every year our Emergency Services have to deal with the following:

POLICE - Arrests, Reports.
AMBULANCE - injuries
FIRE BRIGADE - Fires

It's time to ban the sale of these explosives to the public and have only Council run events instead.

Additional Information

Like it or not, Fireworks get into the wrong hands far too easily. They are used to fire at people and posted through people's letter boxes.
The damage caused by fireworks to people and property is just too much to deal with.
YouTube has many videos showing fireworks being used in an illegal way.
It's time these were banned from public sale.
