Petition Action

Initiate a motion of no confidence in the current government.

Petition Details

In light of recent events, in which the House of Lords was obliged to step in regarding the government's economic plan, and through which the government flagrantly broke pre-election promises, it is clear that the current government is incapable of delivering the mandate for which it was elected.

Additional Information

The House of Lords has no confidence in the government:

Pre-election David Cameron said categorically that tax credits wouldn't fall: https://youtu.be/CxS-Tow-Qik and yet the chancellor responds thus: http://youtu.be/V1vJMtx4iko

The levels of incompetence and dishonesty, is surely strong evidence for a motion of no confidence under the Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011.
