Save Bentham Country Club
Founded in 1990, Bentham CC has been at the heart of Gloucestershire’s sporting community for 25 years. The venue is set to close in Spring 2016 and the land is to used to build 40 houses.
The closure of Bentham CC would be disastrous to Gloucestershire’s sporting community and would show a total disregard for the legacy of the 2012 London Olympic Games. The foreclosure of Bentham CC fails to take this into account as Gloucestershire would see sporting venues oversubscribed and leave many without a facility to take part in sporting activities.
