Reduce the subsidy given to the fossil fuel industry to reduce energy bills

Petition Details

The UK government are looking to reduce subsidies for renewable energy to bring down energy bills.

2015-16 Renewables subsidies are estimated to be 4.5bn, the expected subsidy for the fossil fuel industry is expected to be 26bn.

The government say industry should survive without subsidies.
