MPs who fiddle their expense claims to face same punishment as convicted looters
MPs and convicted looters to face exactly the same punishment.
Is there really a difference between the opportunistic rioter who decides to loot a shop thinking that he/she won't be caught, and the MPs who fiddle their expenses thinking that they too won't be caught?
Both are petty thieves, opportunistic and oblivious to their own immorality.
Only one group is elected by us, highly educated and (allegedly) intelligent.
