Allow local authorities to set the fees charged for planning applications

Petition Details

Local authorities should be allowed to set the fees that they charge for planning applications. It seems inappropriate that architects and builders get to charge huge fees, & make a profit, yet local authorities makes a loss on this service, with this loss being subsidize by council tax payments.
