Petition Action

1921 census

Petition Details

Amend the 1920 Census Act to make the publication of the census data exempt from the 100 year rule such that the data can be published now.

Additional Information

It's already 94 years since that census. The 1931 census data for England was destroyed and no census took place in 1941. 2022 is far too late as there are no other census until 1951. Many people that are on the 1921 census are not around now so issues of peoples rights should not be affected
