Restricting refuse collection to out of hours would ease congestion on our roads and with a quite delivery code of practice they would improve shift productivity, reduce duty times and vehicle fuel consumption saving money, emissions and time for all.

It was deemed a success, endorsing the effectiveness of TfL’s quiet delivery code of practice. They also recorded efficiency improvements of shift productivity, reduced duty times and vehicle fuel consumption.
