Force supermarket's to donate their wasted food to Charities.
Supermarket's waste so much food because its past their sellby date or has simply been dropped because of current laws. This food can be donated to Charities and Foodbanks but most Supermarket's choose not to because it costs them extra money. This food could stop millions of children going hungry.
Supermarket's waste enough food to fill a landfill site each year which could be going towards charities and food banks instead. At Foodbanks a record breaking, three days food was given out 1,084,604 times this year alone; 12 times more than last year. 1 in 5 households in the UK live under the official poverty line when there is thousands of pounds worth of food being thrown away every day, something needs to change.
