Make 5th November into a new bank holiday
Currently there is a 4 month gap between the late summer and the Christmas/New Year bank holidays in the United Kingdom. Celebrating 5th November would both bridge this gap and also introduce a truly national holiday for the whole United Kingdom, thereby commemorating a truly important anniversary.
