Petition Action

Ban the advertising of gambling websites on television

Petition Details

UK television is flooded with adverts for gambling websites, encouraging people to spend money they don't have with the promise of winning millions. This should be treated the same as alcohol and cigarette advertising.

Additional Information

Television adverts on smaller channels consist mostly of the same companies under different names.

I would reference this piece stating that they have risen 600% since deregulation

And it gets worse every month
