Introduce legislation to control the amount of rent landlords charge for housing
Landlords make huge profits from buy to let property. High rents make it impossible for tenants to save a deposit to buy their own homes. Demand for buy to let property is one reason why property prices are so high. Legislation to control rents will make owning buy to let property less attractive.
