Do not reduce Luton's Childrens centres .
Luton Borough Council propose to reduce the number of Main Children's Centres in Luton from the current 7 to just 1 main Hub,this will have a negative affect on all the areas within Luton.Children's health and well being will be put at risk as they will no longer be able to provide all the services.
The current 7 hubs in Luton deliver to at least another 4 locations each. Each of these locations offer services such as stay and play groups, antenatal, parenting classes, health drug and alcohol services, family support and advise and help for victims of domestic abuse. If Luton borough council reduce these services this support will no longer be provided at a personal level. And as seen by other councils, to much would be taken on and Luton would fail the community and lives could be at risk.
