Ban all Christmas-themed advertisements, except during the month of December.
The 12 Days of Christmas has become the 60 days of Christmas. Christmas adverts now appear on TV, radio and in print, beginning in late-October. Why? No other festival requires such intensive marketing. The hype is eroding the 'magic' of Christmas, for religious and secular observers alike.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government is not directly responsible for advertising. All forms of advertising in the UK are regulated by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) , who impose the British Advertising Codes.
