Petition Action

Introduce more topics about homophobia in primary school lessons.

Petition Details

Many students in primary and secondary school education are hearing some form of homophobic language used every day. By children having more opportunities to talk about issues such as homophobia in primary schools, the likelihood of homophobic bullying could be reduced.

Additional Information

Children who are or have connections with LGBT are losing their confidence due to the stereotyping and discrimination made by their peers.

Every child should have the awareness of how a little comment could affect the minds of others and that discrimination against individuals just because of their sexuality is not something to be tolerated.
