Reverse £1bn of Cuts to Met Police Damaging its Ability to Respond to Terrorism

Petition Details

Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe, commissioner of the Metropolitan police, believes Met would lose £1bn by 2020 and shrink to levels last seen in the 1970s and that we can expect to lose 5,000 - 8,000 police officers, damaging Met's ability to respond to a terrorist attack.

We demand adequate protection.

The current UK threat level for international terrorism is SEVERE.
This means that a terrorist attack is highly likely.
