Commit all available UK military assets to assisting France against IS.
Article 5 of the NATO treaty states that an attack on one is an attack on all and calls for collective defence. Francois Hollande has described the Paris attacks as an act of war by Islamic state. It is imperative that we now use all available resources to fight IS wherever they are.
Article 5 was invoked following the 9/11 attacks on the United States.
