Reverse the planned cuts of 25% - 40% to our police force to help fight terror
Our police forces across the country have already absorbed significant funding cuts. The Conservatives are planning further cuts of between 25% and 40%. This will result in less police stations, less visible policing on our streets and less officers to investigate crime. Paris may happen in UK
In the face of rising terrorist activity, like we have seen in Paris, we need police forces equipped, staffed and funded appropriately to keep us safe. Now is not the time to slash funding.
