Insist that U.S.A. become a signatory to international laws.
It's hoped that with U.S.A. being signatory to international laws illegal military actions could be a thing of the past.

The UK Government can't require the US Government to take this action.
You could start a petition calling on the UK Government to urge or encourage the USA to become a signatory to international laws. It would also be helpful if you specified which laws you have in mind.
