Call for fresh general election at next available date.
Following refusal to debate a petition for a vote of no confidence in David Cameron, we the petitioners feel that the government no longer holds a democratic mandate to govern this country and call for a fresh general election at the soonest available opportunity.
Breaking tax credit cuts promises, dismantling of NHS, promoting a divided society, welfare sanctions leading to deaths. The country is on it's knees, we cannot last another 5 years. This petitioning facility is supposed to be a way of increasing the availability of democracy and letting the people have their say, yet this is not the case the rejection of the previous petition is just another example of the contempt the government holds towards the general public.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
petition.parliament.uk/petitions/106407
If you would like the Government to change its policies, you could start a new petition calling specifically for that action.
