Make it illegal for shops to advertise Christmas until 25 November.
I love Christmas; most people do. However, I hate the way it is commercialised in early November each year so is dragged out for eight weeks, resulting in the big day ending in an anti-climax.
Let's change this by giving shops one month to do all they need.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government is not directly responsible for advertising. All forms of advertising in the UK are regulated by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), who impose the British Advertising Codes.
