Petition Action

Clear marking on photos when a human in the image has been photoshopped.

Petition Details

Working as a nurse with young people and father, the effect of false and impossibly perfect body images is very evident. I propose that a clear stamp is on every image that has been photoshopped. The stamp saying that the image is not a true representation of real life.

Additional Information

This would need to include all varieties of software similar to photoshop. I suggest that using a plain filter would not included.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Your petition seems to be asking the media to take this action.

If you would like Parliament to change the law to require the media to do this, you could start a petition calling for that.
