Petition Action

Enforce the term 'adolescent abuse' instead of 'Teen Porn'

Petition Details

It is commonly known that 'teen porn' is a gateway to offending behaviour with children. Adults who are sexually attracted to adolescents view 'teen pornography' as a 'safe' way to indulge in their fantasies. However, teenagers aren't adults and shouldn't have public sexualised behaviour normalised.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We're not sure who you want to take this action. We can only accept petitions which call for action from the Government or Parliament.

If you would like the Government and Parliament to change the way they refer
to 'Teen Porn' and refer to it as 'adolescent abuse', you could start a petition asking for that.
