Increase holiday entitlement at work from 4 weeks to 6-8 weeks

Petition Details

4 weeks a year means a week off every 3 months. As studies have revealed; lack of holiday breaks and over-working increase stress levels. I think adding on a couple of extra weeks holiday entitlement could be a stepping stone to making people work more effectively resulting in lower stress levels.

There are plenty of links as evidence that working can be one of the biggest factors of stress and anxiety. Stress, depression and anxiety is one of the biggest factors for employees taking time off work.
