Make a system where corrections appear in the same size as mistake in the Media

Petition Details

There have been many instances where media outlets have reported false or misleading information. Although they can print a correction, these often get overlooked. If we forced the Media to print corrections on the same scale as the initial mistake, it would encourage due diligence.

Additional Information

Many of you are probably aware of the ridiculous tabloid headline that was printed on Monday 23rd November in 'The Sun' which involved 'One in Five Brit Muslims' : http://www.theguardian.com/media/greenslade/2015/nov/26/the-times-admits-story-on-the-suns-jihadi-poll-was-misleading

Printing misinformation like this can have real world consequences and it's time that more responsibility was taken by media outlets, especially with sensitive topics. This petition would cause change, big change!
