Make it mandatory to have a referendum before taking offensive military action.
In light of the current decision to attack Syria and the disastrous wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, it is clear that MPs are not concerned with the views of their constituents. Decisions this contentious should not be made by whipped MPs voting on party lines. The people should decide by referendum.
