Cancel one Syrian air-strike, ex-service people off the streets with savings
I call on the Secretary of State for Defence, the Rt Hon Michael Fallon MP, to cancel a single air-strike in Syria. The funds saved appropriated as required to enable the many brave ex-service people living rough to have a roof over their heads and a warm meal in their stomach this Christmas.
Whilst the exact costs I can't know, I have assumed that a single mission using Tornado GR4 aircraft and the Brimstone missile would be in the region of £2m+
Regardless of how so caused, these homeless ex-service personnel once put their lives on the line for us, the least we can do for them is keep them warm and put some food in their stomach this Christmas time.
