To have British sign language part of the national curriculum from yr 3 and up
I feel that children would benefit from this as it would be a second language and would teach them about people with disabilities. Not just the deaf, non verbal and the Autistic. Bring more people together.
By the time a child had left primary school they would have used BSL and had a Conversation with a deaf Or Autistic person.
This would be used more than a child stopping and talking French or German someone.
