Petition Action

Invite the Queen to lead a National Day of Prayer to end the War on terror.

Petition Details

The aim of this petition is to call upon the government to invite her Majesty the Queen to lead the Nation in a day of Prayer the same way King George V and King George VI did. In order to ask Almighty God to forgive the sins of the Nation in humility, and end the war on terror.

Additional Information

During World War 1 the British army was in trouble and over 300000 French troops had been killed, Paris was within the grasp of the German Army. King George the V called a National day of Prayer. The Germans were stopped by the British Army with rumours of an intervention of an angel on the battlefield. 3 months before the War ended King George V called another day of prayer at St. Margaret’s Westminster both houses of Parliament in attendance. The tide turned and the war ended 3 months later.
