Allow UK police officers to carry small guns.
Allowing our police officers to carry handguns when on duty will help fight crime. If a police officer saw someone being threatened with a gun, how would they be able to help being unarmed?
In 2012, 2 police officers was killed after responding to a 999 call. They could have protected themselves if they was equipped with a gun. More information about the 2 deaths can be found here. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-19635239
