Legislate against the fly tethering of horses and ponies on roadside verges
The fly tethering of horses and ponies on roadside verges is cruel and needs to be stopped without delay, they are often left without food or water and are constantly spooked by fast traffic. They are tethered on short ropes preventing them from finding shelter against the elements .
The practise is common in the travellers communities in and around Harlow and countless other towns, it seems the animal welfare organisations are unable or unwilling to take action.
