Petition Details

I want this because as a person who firmly believes in democracy it has been made clear to me that FPTP is an undemocratic system that allows for rife gerrymandering and a degenerative process to a two party state that is akin to a dictatorship lite.

Additional Information

In the general election multiple people voted for various different parties, the results as shown disproportionately represent one view in parliament and the opinions of well over half the electorate are under represented in parliament. A change to Single Transferable Vote would ensure that we maintain local representatives whilst ensuring the most satisfactory results for Parliament and the public.
