Petition Action

End Transmission Of Promotion Of Cruelty Towards Live Animals Illegal In The UK.

Petition Details

We demand that shows like I'm a Celebrity, should not be allowed to broadcast actions of cruelty towards animals of any kind on UK TV, such as eating them live or dropping them hundreds of feet etc.
It allows people think that harming other beings is OK. It's not.

Additional Information

Examples of Animal Cruelty broadcast on I'm A Celebrity.
-Eating live animals such as spiders, worms, leeches
-Dropping animals from dangerous heights causing injury and death.
-Placing them in tanks with people, causing distress upon the animal
-Introducing them to uninhabitable climates, therefore the animal becoming unwell due to an unnatural environment.

Ofcom have received thousands of complaints about this, yet nothing has been achieved, therefore it's time for the government to step in.
