Teach more about LGBTQ+ in classrooms
School has played no part in educating me on LGBTQ+ and my sexual identity: We learn about both the biological and emotional sides of heterosexual sex and relationships, yet any sexual orientations other than that aren't even mentioned. I want to our generation to be taught about LGBTQ+ as standard.
LGBTQ+ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, as well as anything else that comes into that isn't the majority such as asexual or genderfluid. To be gay or homosexual means to like same sex (in men or women) but to be lesbian only applies to women. Bisexuals like both genders, transsexuals feel that they are born in the wrong gender body, and queer is an umbrella term for anything else that isn't the 'norm'.
