Convicted rioters should not lose their benefits and should instead be subject to normal judicial processes.
We ask Parliament to reject the proposal that all convicted rioters lose their benefits and should instead be subject to normal judicial processes.
We are able and willing to understand that there are complex and multi-factorial causes behind the riots and as members of this society we do not want to exclude and further marginalise the individuals responsible. We want Parliament to develop complex solutions to complex problems, we do not want Parliament to engage in draconian and knee jerk hysterical reactions that will serve to divide our society even further.
