Compulsory voting should be introduced in the UK

Petition Details

Voter participation remains an issue in the UK, with low turnout for UK elections and the majority of voters failing to vote in elections for devolved nations and LAs.

Participation at elections is a citizen's civic responsibility and as a result, voting at elections should be made compulsory.
