Call on the Government to protect UK business websites from indiscriminate abuse

Petition Details

Businesses rely on their websites as a primary source of promotion and growth. The government and our 650 MPs must act to stop the abuse of business websites by introducing urgent reforms including not allowing linking to websites without prior written permission by the website owner every 12 months

Additional Information

The government has a responsibility to protect UK business and other websites from indiscriminate linking and misuse of their information. Some businesses are forced to close down due to the severe nature of the abuse. Penalties should be applied as a deterrent and more restrictions implemented by website providers/hosting companies. Stop the abusers practice of enforcing their own countries policies, guidelines and licensing rights on individuals and businesses in Britain, a sovereign country.
