National Service
I call on the Government to introduce National service to all offenders of criminal acts, were the sentence would only justify a minimal term (according to law)
Rather than a communal service or a small amount of time in jail, to spend the time helping the defence force.
It would guide so many young offenders to a better life, e.g. the riots recently
I also believe that there are many youngsters that would befit from this type of incarceration
I also suggest that that the Government bring back national service to all youngsters after they leave school, it would help , in many cases discipline.
I realise that the opposition would be the expense. A solution simple cut foreign aid , the present government is spending 11 Billion per year on foreign aid and yet there are many areas of UK society which could rather benefit form this money and this is one of them.
