Stop Tendring District Council from charging a 'falling charge' for pensioners.
In April 2016 Tendring council is deciding to introduce an annual fee of £25 for pensioners who fall and need assistance in their own homes. This is in addition to a monthly careline fee of £21. Many elderly people opt out of the careline fee already because they are unable to afford it.

Statement made by Paul Honeywood, a Conservative councillor for Tendring, defended the measure saying the council needs the £26 annual charge in order to continue offering a “lifting service”.
