Full Public Inquiry into death of 'Baby P'
We demand a FULL PUBLIC INQUIRY into the events surrounding, and roles carried out by all agencies, including Social Work and Health Inspection bodies, in respect of the death of Baby 'P' - Peter Connelly.
The continuing mantra of 'lessons will be learned' is not enough, there must be greater accountability at the highest levels of management and the rigour of Inspections must be closely examined.
The role of the media also needs including, especially inaccurate and irresponsible reporting.
A full Public Inquiry would hopefully bring everything into the open and help restore public confidence in Child Protection in the UK.
