Amend planning to stop building houses on flood plains.
The flooding that has happened this year is likely to get worse. This causes considerable cost to local authorities and to the government, to say nothing of the extreme problems it causes for the flood victims. One way to limit this in future is to stop building houses where it is likely to occur.
