End subsidy on alcohol purchases in Houses of Parliament/Lords/Commons.
Over £4million pound of UK taxes is used to subsidise the food and drink sold within the Houses of Parliament/Lords/Commons. Whilst this keeps the MPs' expenses down, it means they pay about £2.60 for a pint WHILST AT WORK/ON DUTY. Subsidies should be diverted to issues that benefit the public.
The Speaker of the House refuses to provide information regarding the issue of alcohol consumption within the House.
