identity cards uk nationals and foreign residents

Additional Information

like spain,there should be identity cards,one for uk citizens,and one for foreign residents.
including fingerprint,and name,address,dob,and photo,these should be obtained through the police,and details kept on police data base.
IT should also be a fineable offence not to have one,or produce one on request,by a law enforcement officer etc.
criminals,ileagals,and others who break the law,will be the only ones who will have anything to worry about.In Spain you cant use a credit card etc without producing an id card,to prove you are the holder,thus lessening the chances of fraud,your id number is linked to your tax,social security,and medical cards and makes paper work,and opening accounts,etc much more efficient and quicker as you have one id number for everything,in your life,its a very good way to catch criminals and clean up a country of un-desireables.
