David Cameron use your power to halt the execution and free Ali Mohammed Al-Nimr
Ali Mohammed Al-Nimr is the nephew of Shia cleric Sheikh Nimr who was executed by the Saudi regime in the first week of 2016 for peacefully protesting in Saudi Arabia. Ali Mohammed Al-Nimr faces imminent execution for also demonstrating peacefully. He must be released. He has committed no crime.
Ali Mohammed Al-Nimr was just a child when arrested, Ali was recently sentenced to death on 27th May 2014 by a specialized criminal court. According to Amnesty, these confessions were extracted under torture and mistreatment. The offences charged against him include ‘participating in demonstrations against the government, 'attacking security forces, possessing a machine gun and armed robbery.'
Ali’s case has been passed onto the Ministry of Interior for the implementation of the sentence.
