Petition Action

Change the law on the age of criminal responsibility.

Petition Details

I think that the age of criminal responsibility should vary depending on the severity of the crime

Additional Information

I think that the age of criminal responsibility shouldn't be restricted to just one age for all crimes because some crimes we may know are bad at a young age but others we have no clue. For example we know from a very young age that to physically hurt someone is bad but a young child wouldn't know that to take something from the shop or vandalize the side of a building with paint is bad but they can be taken as a serious offence.
