Sanction Argentina to stop the Falkland's Dispute.

Petition Details

The government of Argentina to unlawfully take the Falklands. War and violence must be prevented, so we urge for the government to apply strict sanctions against Argentina to stop any further conflict. Protectionism, sporting restrictions, or of banning Argentine government officials entry to UK.

Additional Information

1982 - Argentina illegally invades the Falkland's Islands. Receives UN condemnation.
1982- British PM Thatcher fights back and reclaims the Falklands after ten weeks.
2013 - Referendum for Falkland Islanders to stay British or not. 99.8% votes yes. Rejected by Argentine government.
2014 - Top Gear's Christmas in Argentina stopped by violent locals for 1982 reference on number plate. Argentine London embassy threatens apology from BBC, but BBC refuses.
2016 - Mauricio Marci to conquer it again.
